So I'm not starting off the way I had hoped for my one picture a day plan. I was going to but my computer wouldn't connect to the Internet when I was home and I had no jump drive to claim so it left me without blog updates BUT I did take pictures or at least attempted to. I just got a new lens for my bday and because of my camera body it will not auto focus which sometimes makes taken certain pictures tricky but hey I'm learning so I'm now done with excuses at least till Christmas!

and I just cant get enough

So my picture today is to illustrate the amazing deal that I just got on a pair of shoes from work. Retail has a few perks and this is most definitely one of them! These shoes were an on-line return that went on sale so I got them for way more than half the price. It got me thinking about all of the great deals out there that customers never get to see...makes you all wish you worked retail right?....no?

Apathetic is a Pathetic way to be

So I had all intentions on starting a blog back this summer when all I did was sit at work and read them. Well, myself got the best of me, with a few excuses and what do you know, it’s now the end of November...better late than never I guess.
So, I got to thinking again about blogging and well how much I kind of need it right now. I finally got the long awaited degree, which is now useless, and I'm back in retail, ironic but it is a job! I'm looking to this blog, not as a site for people to read, but more as an outlet for me to stay creative. A way to hold myself accountable and not to get caught by laziness again. My challenge to myself is to post one picture a day, to partly document what could be a very important time in my life and as a way to hold on to the creativity that could die with my degree. So, goodbye apathy I won’t be missing you at all! This post will have just a bit more than one picture....I had a lot of catching up to do plus I just turned 24 and that is worth celebrating! PLUS fall colors cannot be depicted in just one picture!

Bergdorf Goodman has unveiled this new piece of Tsé & Tsé Associées furniture with varying vintage drawer pulls reclaimed from old chests. As if whimsy weren’t enough, the drawers open on both sides, making the savvy French firm’s Astier a perfect room divider. And its only $10,000....I just dont think my graduation money is going to be enough to make this purchase...sigh

Im ready for my close up

So I am constantly thinking of possible photographs that I could take but my lack of models and time leaves me with alot of ideas.......so to keep these ideas from fleeting I have decided to post them here for safe keeping until someone knocks on my door ready to be recreated into audrey hepburn or until I can buy a lucille ball wig! so here they are, my inspirations or at least just the start of them Im sure I will add more later
